It was great honor to attend “The fourth A3 Roundtable Meeting on chemical Probe Research Hub” which was held at Sendai, Japan, from Nov. 18 to Nov. 21, 2019. I had a wonderful time in this meeting and learned a lot about organic chemistry and chemical biology.
It was my first time to attend the conference of the chemistry department and have oral presentation about chemical biology study since I recently joined the chemical biology research group. I didn’t have much experience and knowledge about this research area. And unlike domestic conferences, it was very challenging for me to present my research and answering the question in English, so I was very anxious before attend the meeting. However, as I attend sessions and listen to several talks, I felt chemical biology research is so interesting and realized this research area has infinite potential for many applications in diagnosis and treatment of serious disease people suffer from.

Although I attended this meeting only for first 2 days, I could have a meeting with international research leader in this research area, and follow the recent research trend in chemical biology from this meeting. This A3 Round table meeting gave me a great opportunity not only to learn wonderful achievement about chemical biology research area but also to make many international friends to discuss. Again, I would thank to A3 Foresight Program and all members in this meeting.
